Classic Macaroni Salad with a Twist


If you want to do something new with an old classic, give this one a shot

Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup chopped cilantro 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion 1 cup mayonnaise 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple tidbits in juice .
  2. drained .
  3. juice reserved .
Directions
  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook elbow macaroni in the boiling water .
  2. stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite .
  3. 8 minutes; drain. Rinse macaroni with cold water until cool; drain. .
  4. Mix macaroni .
  5. chicken .
  6. mayonnaise .
  7. pineapple with about half the reserved juice .
  8. cilantro .
  9. red onion .
  10. and salt together in a large bowl. .
  11. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled .
  12. at least 15 minutes. .
